Giant Sequoia Tree
13.25"H X 11.25" W X 1.5" D. Acrylic Painting of The General Sherman Tree at the north end of Giant Forest in the Sequoia National Park in California. It is the world's tallest tree, measured by volume. It stands 275 feet tall and is over 36 feet in diameter at the base. Sequoia trunks remain wide high up. Sixty feet above the base, The Sherman Tree is 17.5 feet in diameter. I don't think I have ever visited it, but hope to some day. I love the forest!
Care Instructions
The simplest way to clean up an oil or acrylic painting on canvas is to use a white cotton cloth soaked in a gentle soapy water; olive oil–based soap works wonders. You’ll be surprised to see how much grime comes off. Be gentle with paintings with thick impasto, as you do not want to break hardened paint. You might want to use Q-tips and work gently in crevasses.
