Due to feeling under the weather, I missed a couple of days here. Thank you for asking, I'm doing much better.
Hopefully I won't drop my protein smoothie in the kitchen today. I made quite a splash (pun intended) from the top cabinet to the family room yesterday.
I woke up to some wonderful news this morning! There is an annual treasure sale at Pence. It will be held from June 16 to 19, at 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closing at 3 p.m. on the last day)
Those looking to get their spring cleaning done or download their unwanted family heirlooms, as well as those looking for trinkets and treasures to love, should not miss the Treasure Sale. All proceeds from this sale, which takes place at the gallery, support Pence's exhibits and education programs.
*HUGE DEAL on June 19, the last day of Treasure Sale - fill up a bag with items you want and only pay $5!
Donation Drop Off Dates:
June 12-15, 11:30 am. - 4:30 pm.
If you'd like to donate jewelry, clothing, art, small furniture, collectibles, rugs, vintage items, and more, we encourage donations during the dates and times listed above. No need to call before drop-off during these dates - just come in! All donations will receive a tax deductible receipt.
I probably need to clean out my jewelry. Just want to keep some items my husband gave me and offer the lot to our daughter or youngest granddaughter. I need to clean out clothing. I have an art piece that I can donate. I will take a look for any collectibles. Those might be my husband's and it's not in my lane to dispose of his items at this time.
Well, after I have my protein smoothie, I need to get a grocery list started. I want to make waffles tonight.
We need to clean out our fridge too. There's a glass of tea in there that's been there for weeks. I will use it to water my house plants. Do you have any houseplants? What type?
Wednesday, I will be taking down several large paintings from Gallery 1855 in Davis so, if you haven't been to see them, you may want to do that tomorrow as I don't know if they are open today.
Next month, I will be checking in with Lisa Thompson, Women's Ministry Leader at Bayside Church - Granite Bay, regarding MendingtheSoul.org. We have support groups for adult women who have survived abuse via all the Bayside campuses. So far, we are filled up for the Fall group and I am accepting Potential Participant Intake Forms for the Spring 2024. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please contact me at: karen.uhlman@baysideonline.com.
I want to see the Sean Royal Art Show next month at the Archival Gallery. We have known him since he was a boy.
Hoping to get the remainder of the garden in next month also. We grow passion fruit, New Zealand lettuce, berries, sunflowers, pumpkins, loquats, tomatoes, and all types of herbs!
